Introducing Joseph & The Angel

Yesterday was the church Christmas play.

Jeremy was Joseph and Taylor was one the angels.  I must say I had the prettiest angel & the most handsome Joseph around!

7 days of fun with Candy Cane

So far our elf,  Candy Cane, has been with us for 7 {WhOlE} days!! She’s been a busy little elf, and done a great job of keeping the littles interested!! Each morning they wake up, the first thing they do is look to find her and she what she done over night! Here’s a recap of day’s 1-7:

collage

  1. Her first morning, she introduced herself by bringing breakfast all the way from the NoRtH pOlE!!
  2. Then she brought back some snow {flour} from the North Pole & made a snow angel on our table.
  3. Today she was caught taking a snowball bath!!
  4. Then it was story time with her friends
  5. The little’s woke up to Candy Cane checking HER facebook!
  6. Uh-oh!! She helped the policeman catch the speeding racers!
  7. Today she had art time and made the little’s a picture!!

Keeping checking back to see what else she gets into!!

Homemade gifts {Day 2}

Ok, today’s gift isn’t {SuPeR dUpEr} homemade. In fact it really isn’t homemade at all. It’s just a cute inexpensive gift that let’s someone know you’re thinking about them. For this gift, I spent a total of $3.35! It wouldn’t have been that much if I hadn’t found these SUPER cute boxes at the Dollar Tree!

All you need is:

collage

a cute pair of socks ($.88 at Kmart this week)
1 bottle of nailpolish ($1.34 at Wal-Mart)

Gift Box ($1 Dollar Tree)
1 piece of tissue paper ($.125 Dollar Tree–1pc out of an 8ct.)

 007

I packaged up 3 of these (one I had to mail for $2.12) for a grand total of $10.70!!! You can’t beat that for 3 Christmas gifts!

How Cute….

Is this????005

I found this little beauty at the dollar store this morning! $1!!! Eeeeppps! I love it! It’s got that older Christmas look to it. Check back tomorrow to find out what I BOUGHT this for!

Handmade Christmas Gift {Day 1}

Over the next few days, the kids and I have a few handmade gifts to pump out! Christmas Eve is only 12 days away and that’s when we’ll need the gifts to give out.

Our first project is a PINTEREST project.

"Mistle Toes"

“Mistle Toes”

This had to be one of the easiest things we they’ve made. And it was SUPER inexpensive. We had paint at home already, but it was dollar store paint.  And the plate is a dollar store charger. Total Cost: $3 since we already had paint, but if you didn’t have paint add another $1 to your total cost!

No matter the cost, it’s the thought that counts & that’s why I know our “receivers” will LOVE this!

Our 3 mistle toes plates! Hope our receivers aren't reading! :)
